Cookies & Browser Storage

See what Nitro Pitch saves in your browser, why it is used, and how to manage advertising preferences.

1. Cookies and local storage

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser and sent with relevant web requests. Local storage keeps data for this site between visits; session storage normally lasts for the current tab session. Both can support gameplay without being advertising cookies.

The table below describes storage used by the game code. Providers may also use their own storage when you use sign-in or allow advertising.

2. What the game stores

First-party browser storage used by Nitro Pitch

np-domain-migrated-v1Remember a completed move so old bookmarks use your new save.Until cleared; also remembered for the tab session where available.
np-match-history:*, np-blocked:*Recent completed matches and blocked players, scoped to your account on this device (or guest use). Blocking hides chat and invitations.Until cleared. Match history retains the latest 20 matches; the block list holds up to 100 players.

Local storage has no built-in expiry. Game code can replace or remove entries earlier. Firebase Authentication can also use browser persistence, including IndexedDB, to keep you signed in.

3. Advertising & third-party services

Nitro Pitch includes Google AdSense. The game only requests the AdSense script after you allow advertising through the cookie controls. Google and its partners may then use cookies or similar identifiers for ad delivery, personalization, fraud prevention, and measurement. Cookie names and lifetimes vary by product and provider.

Learn more from Google’s advertising information, Google’s ad cookie reference, and Google’s ad settings. Sign-in uses Firebase, hosting uses Cloudflare, and the game loads some resources from external providers. These requests can share technical information such as your IP address independently of advertising personalization settings.

The repository does not include a separate analytics loader. Google’s advertising services may also measure ad delivery and interactions. A hosting provider or deployment configuration may add services outside this repository; this page should be reviewed when those change.

4. Your advertising choice

Advertising is off until you allow it. Rejecting advertising does not stop you from playing. Change a saved choice here at any time.

Your choice applies to this browser and site address for up to 180 days. Other devices or copies of the site need their own choice. When this site moves from nitropitch.bibleway.workers.dev to nitropitch.app, the migration can carry this browser’s saved preference to the new address. Terms acknowledgment is separate from advertising consent.

Withdrawing permission reloads the page to stop scripts already running; other open tabs also reload when they receive the updated choice. This does not erase cookies Google already set. Use browser site-data controls and Google My Ad Center for existing cookies and account advertising settings.

This site control manages whether AdSense loads. It is not a Google-certified consent management platform. Where Google requires an additional regional consent message, the site operator must also configure it in AdSense.

5. Browser controls & deleting data

Use your browser’s privacy settings to review or remove cookies and site data, block third-party cookies, or use private browsing. Look for “Cookies and site data” or “Site settings” for the Nitro Pitch address.

Clearing site data may sign you out and delete guest progress, settings, saved replays, and consent choices. It does not delete account data held on servers. Make sure any progress you want to keep is saved to your account first.

If browser storage is blocked, your choice may only last for the current visit. Advertising stays off on a new visit until you actively allow it again.

6. Moving to nitropitch.app & questions

When you visit the old address, a short transfer copies game saves, settings, saved replays, and any readable Firebase sign-in to nitropitch.app. It uses an encrypted, single-use transfer that expires after five minutes. The decryption key stays in your browser tab; the temporary server copy is deleted after redemption or expiry. Your old browser copy remains. Existing saves or accounts on the new address are preserved unless you explicitly choose to replace them. Restricted browser storage, expired sign-ins, and very large saves may require a retry or signing in again.

We will update this page when storage or advertising practices change. For questions, use the feedback speech-bubble button at the top of the game menu (sign-in required). See the Privacy Policy for personal-information requests and the Terms & Conditions for game rules.
